Project 365 – Day 153

Going paleo

taco salad

Mmmm…taco salad.  Today marks the first day of my paleo meal plan.  It goes along with the boot camp that I will be doing for the next 3 weeks.  Today was a very expensive day in terms of getting the right groceries and what not.  However, this was a really good supper. not at all what I expected of a paleo meal.

Being veg would make Paleo difficult for me! Let us know how your experiences with it are. My friend who gave it a try as part of an overall plan absolutely loved it – particularly the no refined sugars part (and that is something veg-head me could work towards…). She feels great.

I’m still a bit unsure about this. I’m going to have to modify the recipes somewhat because I don’t normally eat this much food! But, I’m trying to approach this with an open mind. You’ll definitely end up reading my thoughts as I go through the next 3 weeks.
