Project 365 – Day 126

What scares me

what scares you

Do what scares me. I saw this little card on the bulletin board at Lululemon. What scares me right now is failure. I have been training a new client over the past 2 days, and this training is being evaluated since I’m just about at the 1 year mark with this job. Even though I know that I know what I’m doing (for the most part), I’m scared that I don’t know enough, that I’m not yet capable of doing the job right. I’m scared to ask questions for fear that I’ll look dumb. But, my manager pointed out that questions are okay, and not knowing everything is okay. So, I’m going to try to set aside that fear of failure. I’m going to ask questions as they come to me, and not sit there wondering what to do. And I’m going to approach my next training, which is also going to be evaluated, with more confidence.
