Project 365 – Day 125

I was so busy working today that I didn’t get a chance to take a photo while I was out and about. Instead, I took a photo of something that means a lot to me.

I am a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant. I also have my American certification, represented by the gold pin on the right: Certified Paraoptometric Technician. The silver pin is one level below: Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. These titles represent years of work and study to become the best optometric assistant I can be. I don’t get a lot of occasion to wear the pins, but they travel with me as a reminder of the accomplishments I have made in my professional life.
