Day 30: Anything you want to post about

As of today, I have lived in Red Deer for 3 months. It’s hard to believe that this much time has gone by already. When I first thought about accepting my new job, a year seemed so incredibly long. I guess being so busy at work has, for the most part, kept me too busy to think about time passing. While I was walking to and from the Farmer’s Market this morning, I got to thinking about how my life has changed. So my last post of the blog challenge will be full of my wandering thoughts. Day 28: Do you wish for anything at 11:11? If so, what do you wish for?

I knew about wishing on the first evening star and on breaking a wishbone, but I had never heard of wishing at 11:11 until this blog challenge.  When I read it, way back when I found the challenge, I thought to myself that it would be hard to catch the proper time anyway. Time for a huge change!

I’ve been pretty quiet over the past month because I’m preparing for a major overhaul in my life.  If you had told me 2 months ago that I would be in this position now, I would have laughed!  Yet here I am, on the cusp of a major new beginning :-)

Every new beginning means the end of something old.  I quit my job at the optometry clinic after only 10 months. Continue reading ‘Time for a huge change!’
